Providing coastal engineering designs that take into account the special requirements of development within a coastal environment is a key area of expertise for Hutchinson coastal design engineers.
With our own offices located in the seaside township of Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast, we have a particular interest in environmental engineering for coastal projects and use our specialised knowledge to design new and upgraded wharves, jetties and boat ramps.

Coastal protection
We have a wide understanding of coastal erosion and its effects on the environment, and have acquired extensive experience of foreshore protection projects including the design of sea wall repairs and maintenance in affected areas of the Rodney District.
